Little FREE library

Reading, sharing, community

Our very own

little community library

Christ Church URC are so excited to open our own Little Free Library. It is a resource for the whole community to share.

The idea is that when you take a book to read you leave one behind. This way we can all choose a book from a full  library. This Little Free Library was made with such love by a number of skilled carpenters and an artist all members of Christ Church. They have poured so much love into the construction of our library, for which we are grateful.

Many members of the church have contributed books and the  children have drawn many of the bookmarks as well.

A member cemented the library into the garden and David Meakin helped with the final installation.

So many people came together to make this project possible, thank you. This library is part of a much bigger garden project which is being led by our Christ Church Green Group and The Co-Operative, to see more
