Hall and church Hire
Ad-hoc lettings: We let out our halls for parties, rehearsals and a variety of other uses. Our halls had a major refurishment in that finished in July 2024. Take a look at the pictures and videos below to see if any of the halls might be suitable for the event you have in mind. For further information and prices please email here.
Please note we do not let out our halls on a Sunday except for activities associated with the church, so we would not let for a party but may be able to let for a baptism that was taking place on that Sunday.
Due to regular hires on a Saturday morning our availability for children’s parties is usually only for after 1.45pm on a Saturday.
Regular lettings: We have many regular renters and groups who use our premises. We have limited availability for new regular hires for the odd hour or two so do get in touch here.
Halls of various sizes are usually available for ad-hoc hire or regular hire. Christ Church is ‘home’ to a number of regular classes and clubs. For room capacity and more details please email here where we will aim to get back to you promptly within a day were possible.
Facilities include access to a brand new kitchen equipped with new cooker & hot water on tab, regular sized tables or tables suitable for small children. Rooms range in size.
Lounge Hire
The Lounge: a carpeted cosy room, suitable for twenty-five people sitting or more if standing – ideal for training sessions, small groups or to have a chat, easy access to a disabled toilet
Dimensions of useable space: 4.9m + 7.6m plus 5.5m x 5.6m = 68 square metres
Max 50 people, for pilates or similar groups needing the spread out max about 15.

Kingsbury Hall Hire
The Kingsbury Hall – a large hall refurbished in 2024 with sports style floor, with a high roof suitable for indoor parties and sports.
Dimensions of usable space: 16.2m x 10m = 162 square metres
Max 190 people in close quarters, suitable for a party of 60 children freely moving about and adults plus entertainer.
Popular with parties that need a bouncy castle due to height of the ceiling.

Marlborough Hall Hire
The Marlborough Hall – a hardwood medium sized hall, suitable for parties or small sports or fitness events, hatch to kitchen.
Dimensions: 12.2m x 6.1m = 74.4 square metre

Max 100 people in close quarters, suitable for a child’s party of 30 plus adults and entertainer or as a room to serve food whilst party takes place in the larger Kingsbury Hall.

Kitchen for hall hire
The Kitchen was completely replaced in 2024 with new units and facilities. For parties there is a convenient hot water Lincat boiler, ovens, induction hob and dishwashers.
There is a hatch through from the kitchen to the Marlborough Hall and the kitchen is also opposite the Kingsbury Hall so is convenient for both.
The use of the kitchen is included in the cost of any hire. Hirers can use the crockery but should bring their own cutlery, should leave it as they find it and take away their rubbish.

Church Hire
Sanctuary – this space is not normally rented out but for special events and charity concerts we will make exceptional decisions. As part of our mission is to support the local community and the needs of the wider world, using this amazing space to further good in the world is always a consideration.
We also have the facility to livestream weddings, events and concerts. We can also play videos and display pictures and other media, personalising the occasion to meet your needs.
