We would like to invite you to Christ Church URC’s,
Rainbow Themed Church Service
on Sunday the 26th April at 10.30am on ZOOM
We are having a family service that will focus on rainbows a very topical subject at the moment with people and churches putting rainbows in their windows as ‘signs of hope’ and thanks to the NHS.
The service will include a scavenger hunt, making a rainbow craft, singing a rainbow song, rainbow prayers and a children’s rainbow talk.
The service will be on ZOOM and if you follow the link below you should be able to join. We suggest you start joining from 10am onwards which allows us a little time to set up and get everyone organised.

Privacy
We will hopefully be streaming the service live on YouTube as well. We will also record the service so that we can make it into a clip for YouTube. If you do not want to be ‘filmed’ but do want to participate then you can join the service using audio only and not video. This will enable you can hear and see everyone but we won’t be able to see you.
Muting
During the service we have the ability to mute everyone, which we will do for the service. This means you will not have to worry about normal house noises or the children chatting. We have the ability to unmute individuals who will be involved in the service. So please do not be concerned to keep your family quiet during the service, this will be no problem.
CRAFT to do BEFORE the service
We would like every family to decorate the rainbow template below or create their own rainbow for the service. During the service we will invite every household to put their rainbows up to fill all the screens with signs of hope.
CRAFT during the service, what will you need?
1. A white paper plate or a piece of paper cut in a circle the size of a plate
2. Some crayons or felt tips in the colours of the rainbow red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink
3. And a pair of scissors
We would absolutely love you to join us on Sunday and trust that it will be a family friendly service for all.
